There’s no place I’d rather be than sitting at the keyboard.

Either as a piano-conductor for a show I can’t get enough of, or as a pit musician tackling a beast of a score, playing a show is where it’s at. My favorite experiences with musicals have been when I’ve had my hands on the keys.

It sounds simple to say I’m happiest at the piano, but it’s true.

I’ve had the pleasure of collaborating with some brilliant performers over the years, as accompanist and MD, and it’s always a blast. I truly love being able to support a singer from the piano.

And when given the opportunity, I really enjoy being able to perform solo piano. Whether it is bringing focus to the great ballets and overtures of the theatre canon, or adding flourish to a sweeping ballad, I love allowing audiences to experience these pieces is a new way.
